In San Antonio with siblings celebrating 152 years of marriage. Food is important to this group and Chama Gaucha did not disappoint! Chicken. Pork. Lamb. Beef. Duck. Passadores carry the meat on large skewers. Intriguing to watch as they scurry about the restaurant looking for your green (want more meat) ticket. Variety of salads. And the flaming cheesecake is excellent. Excellent evening with our waiter, Aaron.
Food was excellent but the service was even better. No detail went overlooked! Was an amazing dining experience.
Delicious. I always try to get a bit of every meat available... but the filet mignon and the sirloin are my favorites. And always cooked RARE! Definitely - Go Hungry!

Booked a reservation to celebrate my retirement. Decided to treat my in-laws to dinner and they had a marvelous time from start to finish. The staff is energetic and attentive and the food is spectacular. We also quite enjoyed our trees leeches cake and an amazing flaming Expresso cocktail! We are big on good service and I can truly attest that no other restaurant has come close to the professional and elegant demeanor of this establishment. We are definitely going to be regulars here.
We have never been let down when dining here. From the time we walked in, our service was top notch!! Xajavier was wonderful!! Very professional and attentive, making our 12 and 7 year old feel so special. We will return for sure!
Chama Gaucha is my favorite steak house. They offer a variety of beef cuts, both leg of lamb and lamb chops and chicken and sausage for those who don't enjoy too much red meat. Servers carve small portions from the skewers they carry. And they are always close at hand, unlike some Brazilian-style places without enough servers. The quality of all the food, from salad buffet to meats, sides brought to your table and desserts, has always been outstanding, including for our son's birthday on Sept 7.
