Shoddy work on outside trim. They still haven’t called me back
We had serious issues with the original crew that they subcontracted to do the siding. They rushed through the job and only installed the insulation boards on 2 of the 4 sides of the house. They left the materials behind and hung the shutters wrong. When they remounted all the downspouts, electrical conduit, and the radon exhaust pipe, they hung them crooked and only put 1 of the 3 brackets back on them. The windows are excellent along with the installer! The cost of the windows represented by the salesperson was not accurate, as well as not correct. Weeks after the contract was signed we received a text to call the rep. We did and was informed she had under quoted the price by $2K. Not honest & not the way to do business.
Salesperson, Ross Browning, came to the house on time and was very professional. He measured the windows, and we signed the contract. The Installation Manager, Kenny Jameson, came a couple of days later and remeasured the windows, to make sure they were correct. It was decided that 2 of the windows were too small for them to replace and were removed from the contract. We waited about 5 months for the windows, which I understand in this environment. It took 7 months to get 3 doors that i ordered back in July and i had to contact them and finally tell them i wanted the money back or the doors before i ever got action. I had to talk to the regional manager to make that happen. The salesman who sold the doors would not return my calls.
I paid my deposit on 8-10-2021 and was quoted 14 to 16 weeks and the 1-1/2 days job got started and finished 28 weeks after the quote. I feel like Champion put me off to do bigger jobs. I am pleased with the sun room and the installers but I am terribley disappointed with Champion and I will tell others about my experience. Charlotte Cox
