We purchased windows, siding, and gutters on June 9. The windows were installed a few days ago. Every time you talk to someone, there are lies. We are very satisfied with the work, but we are on hold again for the siding and gutters. We don't want to have to pay the interest, if the work is completed and paid for within one year.
Their customer service has been terrible so far. I have called multiple time to find out why my door that was order on 5/4 still hasn't been installed. I have been given the run around, and now they won't even answer when I call. The window installation was ok, but they left fingerprints / handprints on almost every window. They also did a fairly sloppy job on the sealing around the windows. For as much as I have paid, there should be NO issues what so ever.
I was very disappointed in the length of time it took after purchasing the window. Even though we made several calls, it was hard to get an actual answer from anyone who was in management as to why it was taking so long. Even though we finally had the window put in a few months ago, I have yet to receive a call asking me what I thought about the service or the quality of the window. I haven't heard anything back from Champion Windows.
I am a little upset about the salesman lying that they would be screening all of the sliding glass doors when they come to do all of the windows in my house. They didn't do that. I had one that was cracked and he assured me that they would repair that for me. This house already has Champion sunrooms and one of them has a crack in it. Neither one of those things happened. Our history with Champion goes back to April. We have been calling because our order wasn't ordered completely, They said they would be back but they never came back. I received calls from the sales rep and customer service agent, They couldn't do more than emails, The install was great but the way Champion would handle communication was very lacking and it wasn't the 50% upfront, but it was bad communication.
