We had a screened-in porch, and we had them basically take that out and put the glass windows in. The guys came, took everything away, and they cleaned up after themselves. I did not have a problem with that, but what I had problem with was afterwards; we had water leaking into the room along the floor, and I just kept calling and calling, and they were very responsive in coming out, but it took five times before they finally were able to get it fixed, so I was very disappointed as far as that aspect of their work. It took about six weeks for the doors to arrive. The doors were quickly and cleanly installed by the installation crew. They cleaned up after themselves and were very considerate while doing the installation. <br /> <br /> The new doors look great. We are very happy with the service and the product. My only quibble is the finish of the door. It's very well done, it just lacks the look of a wood door.

The quality of the product and the price was good. There were three companies that we checked out and they were pretty close to the others.

It is expensive but they are flexible in terms of negotiation; so you can negotiate off their first price. They are very responsive and I will use them again in the future.

One thing that concerned me was the warranty they have. I expect to sell my house in the next 3-5 years and although it's a lifetime warranty for me as long as I stay in the house, the warranty only lasts for 1 year for the new owner - which doesn't work well for my situation.

I must say the whole experience was very positive. Every person we dealt with, from the sales representative, Randy Hoege, the Division Manager, Chris Wagner, the installers, Steve and John and the office manager, Erica Larsen were warm, professional and very customer oriented. I waited a while before I submitted this report because I wanted to make sure the patio room didn't have any problems in the winter. The sales representative, and staff, was quite knowledgeable and friendly. They listened and asked many questions. Additionally, they offered suggestions to assist us with what we wanted. They followed up on their quotes and answered all of our follow-up questions. We visited their showroom, a couple of times, for detailed comparison shopping of the window features. The estimating process was typical - salesman to your house to explain the windows, take measurements, etc. It took a long time between the estimate process to scheduling a date - 5 weeks. Champion gets the windows made so you have to wait for the product. The installation took 2 days. Be aware - Champion subcontracts their work! I didn't know this fact prior to getting their services.
