Nice hidden gem in the western suburbs of Indy. Ask for Julie...awesome waitress and knows the menu up and down! Oh, and Wednesday is $5 martini night!!
I can't say I've ever been disappointed at a CRG establishment - great dining experiences all around! Charbonos, for some reason located in a strip mall in Avon, has a surprisingly cozy interior that's moodily lit and subtly decorated. They have a good bar selection with plenty of options, although maybe not quite as extensive as I would have expected. We've been to Charbonos several times and it always great! We had a small server snafu (she was working the big room as well as covering a few tables). The manager made sure to greet us and tell us that she was busy and she did make it over to our table a few times to grab our order, drinks, etc. It was fine with us - we weren't in a hurry but if we would've had other plans it would've been a little different story. We have been to this restaurant before and have enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere, and the value. This particular experience is not one we can say was a favorite. I reserved our table online early in the day. Later on that afternoon I received a call from the restaurant confirming my reservation and asking if we had anyone under 21 in our party, which we did.
