It was my wife and my 38th anniversary and we wanted to have a quite night out for some dinner. We had passed by Charbono's In Avon many times while shopping, but never stopped in to eat. We thought that it might be a good place to try (parking lot seemed to always be full or nearly full) and gave Charbono's a shot. We were delighted. Love charbonos and its a great deal at lunch. Real glassware and cloth napkins with fabulous food. Service was slow today but this is unusual. Highly recommend!
Our grown children surprised us by coming from Santa Fe and Los Angeles to my husband's retirement party. Afterward, we went to Charbono's. We paid nearly all the bill with our Open Table rewards check. Thanks, Open Table!
9:00 pm don't want dinner so how about pizza? You might not think of Charbonos but their individual thin crust pizzas are great. And service is always a strength.
Even though it was a busy night, our server was great, and so was the food. Three generations all enjoyed our experience.
We went to Charbonos expecting our normal level of service and food that we usually receive from all CRG restaurants (great). However, our server and the management staff exceeded our expectations more so than normal. Our 21 month old son loves food and we often let him eat off of our plates but this night he was exceptionally hungry.
