A group of 8 adult friends dined here together for the first time. The service was pretty good, but the food was less than stellar. The bread served was very tasty and warm. My husbands steak was ordered medium and came out well. The remade the steak and it came out rare with a cold center. The manager brought it out but didn't wait to see how the steak was cooked. We love Charbonon's and always have. The food is wonderful and so is the waitstaff. They have a good selection of wines. The menu changes regularly but everything I've tried has been amazing. It is very close to us so we visit often.

I guess because this was New Year's Eve, it was super busy and even though we had made reservations about three weeks prior, we were put into the bar at a hightop table for four people. Filet was overdone but still tender, garlic mashed potatoes were bland, vegetable fettuccine was all undercooked. Our waitress did best she could, but was spread too thin. We have had much better food and service here previously.

Not too many good restaurants open for Christmas Eve, so always a treat to dine at Charbonos, with family and friends. Great food, wonderful service, all close to home!
