Took my wife here for her b-day. Always have great customer service and great food. They even gave my wife a free dessert for her birthday! Love the fact that they offer less expensive dishes as well as the stuff you want for special occasions... a filet or sea food. Probably the nicest restaurant in Avon!
I haven’t had a good hunk of meat since moving to Indy 2+ years ago. It’s not that I’ve eaten subpar steak; I just haven’t ordered anything more than a burger in some time. Took the family to Charbonos for my wife’s 35th birthday, and it was one of those “order anything you want” nights, so steak all around. Holy crap, the prime rib was delicious. This restaurant was a great find for us and came highly recommended! We enjoyed outstanding food and delicious desserts. The spicy shrimp on the rib eye is very spicy!
Servers are very well prepared to handle large groups. Food came out timely and exactly as ordered.
Food was great as well as the service. We had requested a semi private table for our anniversary and were unfortunately seated right by the front door nex to the hostess stand. This was not the semi romantic setting we were hoping for.
The noise level was very energetic for a Saturday evening out. The restaurant was very busy but Open Table allowed us to by-pass the wait and walk up to our table 15 minutes before our timed reservation and 30 minutes from off the street. The food is what you would expect in a $$ restaurant. It was prepared very well and delivered hot. Highly recommended.
We all really liked the place. We had a party of 7 that all met from different directions of the state. We all had something different, and some had the buffet. Everyone was pleased and enjoyed our meal. Parmesan chicken was really good. Steak was also very good. Our waitress was very helpful and very pleasant. Four of the seven had not been before, and she explained everything very well. Even made some suggestions. It was nice to try a place we hadn't been before. We would go back!
We have been going to Charbonos for years. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. It is a wonderful, friendly restaurant with amazing food.
I've eaten here many times and as always it was great!!
