.Food was really good and you got big portions. It was our wedding anniversary and when we told the server she gave us a free dessert, won my heart instantly. Probably the best restaurant in Avon, Plainfield area for food taste, I got the scallops and they were amazing!
Service is always accommodating and food well prepared. Try the portobello mushroom sandwich or applewood chicken salad!

I guess every restaurant has a down day & unfortunately I must have hit Charbono's on that day. I ordered lasagna & split it with another diner in my party. The server was gracious enough to have the kitchen split it for us. The 3rd dinner in our party ordered the full portion of lasagna & he felt the same way about his. Unfortunately, it had very little sauce, but instead was like a giant dough covered with cheese. We ordered side salads too, which were fine and the hot bread was delicious. The food was ok although not fabulous for the price. The real problem was the noise. The high warehouse style ceilings do nothing to reduce the noise level. We were sitting right next to each other but could barely have a conversation because of how loud it was in the room. Also, our server brought our check to the table when were weren't even halfway through our meal. The room looked like a fine dining restaurant but was actually more like eating in a loud bar.
We were welcoming home a family member and the staff put us in the back room where it was just us - never asked but decided this for us which was great. With elderly family members - it was perfect so everyone could visit and not feel like we were shouting. Food was superb as always - have been coming here for many, many years - and our server was excellent as well. So like the fact that here in Avon, IN, we can get a wonderful meal.
Great food. Easy to find. Pretty great drink selection. Excellent for our children Bc the menu was wide ranging. Will definitely be back.
We dine at Charbono's frequently and we had a nice dinner Saturday night. Service was not quite up to their usual standards but the food was very good as usual. My husband had prime rib and I had a steak and both were done just right. We'll be back often.
Our group of 7 appreciated the round table, attentive service and consistently tasty food.. We enjoyed the classic Applewood Chicken Salad, tenderloin sandwiches, and soup salad combo. We keep returning because Charbonos does not disappoint.
