Chicken Velvet soup was amazing! Never had it before and was definitely pleased
Charbonos is close to home, a family and friend favorite, and always a good dinner! Saturday nights are busy, but with OpenTable reservations, it makes it easy. Food was great, service was excellent, another enjoyable, never disappointed, visit to a Cunningham family restaurant!
The food is always excellent. The service was a little slow but it was New Year's Eve so they were extremely busy. We had a lovely evening.
We were seated very quickly considering the large crowd waiting in the lobby. The service was very good as was the food. I had requested a booth with our reservation but we were seated at a table which was dissapointing. This is not a very romantic restaraunt.
We went there for New Years Eve, although it was busy, the waitresses were very good and didn't rush us at all. The food was great, one of the best cuts of prime rib, filet, and pork we've had.
Wonderful food - always. We went on New Year's Eve. 6 of their servers had called in sick so they were short staffed but the service was still very good. They always make sure their guests are taken care of.
The food was great but service wasnt the best. This place was so under staffed that the waitors and waitreses had to work in teams to serve everyone and still did a horrible job. You should never have to ask for more bread it should always be offered. Our waitress had no personality, never asked if we needed anything, came maybe 3 times in the 2 hours we were there. Service is a big deal for restaurants in todays economy. On the up side the food was absolutely amazing.
Charbonos never disappoints for lunch! We enjoyed the onion soup, chicken velvet soup, delicious and interesting side salads and perfectly prepared, succulent chicken. Charbonos is a fabulous restaurant with consistently attentive service and superior menu.
I dine here often and can't say enough about the food and the caring people who work here. My dad used to take my mother and me to Charbono's almost every Friday. He had an "episode" a few years ago and later passed away. Charbono's sent a beautiful plant and wonderful food trays to the funeral home. Then this year, when the Avon girls won a state championship, Charbono employees volunteered to stay very late to provide pizza for the team when they arrived home.
