First impressions are lasting. It was a cloudy, winter day but decor is warm and inviting and the view of the ocean was appreciated. The staff was attentive and engaging from the very beginning and Jamie addressed our every request without pause. The food was absolutely delicious after a slight tweak. My clam chowder arrived warm. We had chosen the Gastropub thinking it would have a great view and reasonable food. Our expectations were far exceeded. The menu was reasonable and the view was excellent. However, the service and ambiance were outstanding and added to a wonderful experience.

Me and my fiancé went here for restaurant week. Our server Maritza was amazing! She was an amazing conversationalist. She also gave great recommendations, we tried the Rooster Tail cocktail by her suggestion and it was perfect. Our dinner was good as well. Best mashed potatoes I've ever had. Great experience! Will definitely dine again but only with Maritza as our server.
First of all, the food was very good. Nothing spectacular, but good. We ordered 3 filet mignon, 2 MR, 1 rare, and a whiskey glazed salmom. We got 2MR and a medium. The salmon was excellent. I worked in restaurants...will not send the filet back. They were very good quality filets though. The waitress was also good. However, the combination of her accent and the noise level in the restaurant, it was difficult to hear everything she was saying. Took a relative out for her b day . It took us quite a bit to find the restaurant since it actually is not located in the Tropicana main property, actually the next building over . It’s billed as a pub, but nothing about it was pub like. The atmosphere was weird, it was almost restaurant/ fine dining. The views of the ocean were great, but the service was not .
