Our In-person tour was wonderful. I really liked the woman who showed us around. The location was convenient for our family. The deciding factor was it was just too small. The bathroom was teeny tiny. At another place, we could get 100 square feet more with a kitchenette included for same price. They did as good as they could with all of the covid restrictions in place and the staff members were friendly and nice. It just made me angry that we could not go inside and visit with my mom, we had to visit through a glass window. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

I am able to go stand at her window and talk to her that way, but we have not been allowed inside the facility since she went in here but they are talking about in person visits soon. They have been taking very good care of her with what she needs and she seems to be content. Communication has not been the best, it is hard to get a hold of people on the phone and it is hard finding out what is going on and how she is. I think they need a telephone in the memory care center to where we can get a hold of someone. They have an ... read more

Our loved ones receiving wonderful care while they were there, and just from speaking with them over the phone they said they cleanliness of the place was amazing, they had no complaints about that or the location at all. Due to covid they completely shut down the activities, and the food had to be delivered to their rooms so by the time it would get to them it sometimes was cold. However, overall the were very happy with the community and the value.

Make sure you know who your contacts are in the community. The communication between the staff and the family is good they did a great job keeping us informed. The head nurse is very knowledgeable and does a great job communicating. I would recommend this community to others

We chose Chesapeake Place because of the overall experience when I went in there for the tour. It was spotless, everyone was very friendly, and it was also close to home. When we walked in everyone was so friendly and you can tell they really care. I would tell others to just ask a lot of questions and they are willing to answer anything, they want you to ask those questions. I would highly recommend to others looking.
