Dr Lucas is awesome and the staff is too! With Covid provisions in place they really make the process run smoothly Dr Lucas took time to address a concern I had with on of my dogs and provided me with a variety of ideas!! Highly recommend !!!
Today I took out 2 rescue mitts here for a much needed dental!!! When I went to Island pet they quote me 2400 for one dental for my daughters dog lucky. So I passed. My neighbor told me about this vet and that dental was reasonable priced. I called and they were super nice!! I made appointment, super easy, I showed up and they were quick to get me port work and get me into dumpster!! And brought the dogs and I inside. So far, so good. My usual vet has become so busy and crowded that it was time to find an alternative. I'd visited Cheyenne Tonopah decades ago and liked them. Unfortunately, the clinic was not at all convenient so I found vets that were closer. I'd eliminated a few vets either by reviews from others or unsatisfactory visits. Great first experience at our new puppy's vet! The people working at the front desk were super friendly and kind. It was super easy to schedule an appointment and the whole process went smooth. When you arrive you park in a numbered spot, give them a call and they bring any paperwork to you and have you wait in your car. Thank you to Dr. V and the whole staff for accompanying our beloved senior cat through her final illness. Dr. V helped her transition with dignity and sensitivity to her needs and ours as her grieving mom and dad. We'll be forever grateful to the entire staff at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital. This animal hospital employs the best staff and doctors! I had 2 losses, back to back, my 12 year old Labrador then a 12 week old puppy. Dr. Vanderlinden actually sent me a condolence card. Dr. Wilson is unfortunately retiring, but I've seen Dr. V many many times and Dr. Sanchez a handful. Dr. Sanchez was the one who helped me put my 12 year old boy down. Dr V has been the kindest most generous veterinarian to our family for many years. We have had so many furry family members over the years and Dr V has cared for them all. When it comes time to send them across the rainbow bridge Dr V is second to none. He has come to our home to put an old lab to test in front of her favorite spot. He has put an old cocker spaniel to rest in the back of our truck because he was too sick to get out. And most recently we had to put our kitty to rest because his body was riddled with cancer. In this time of crisis, I had to have my beautiful dog put down. This was the only place that would let me go in with him. Hunter was kind, understanding, and patient with me. (Not an easy task!). Dr. Sanchez was professional and very sweet about helping me through this. I will forever be grateful that I could be with my good boy to the end. Thank you to all the staff and Doctors that care for our animals. Especially the two mentioned above.

The best vet! Dr Vanderlinden! He is the animal whisperer. Been coming to this vet for 18 years and would not trust my animals with anyone else! The front office staff is very friendly, efficient and caring!
