Great hotel, grounds, swimming pools. Unfortunately the management, in a quest to reduce usage of their pools have now restricted access to the pools by closing off all the entrances to the pools except one where they post an entree “guard”. We felt this was quite “Mickey Mouse”. We had to beg to get wristbands to allow our 2 grandchildren to swim with us. —And, this was the only reason we booked the room.
Sad that the main pool was closed. Happy that there were other pools to use.
Excellent hotel and resort with impeccable service and top facilities. Great restaurants, top notch golf and several pools and bars to choose from. Extra points for the”lobby ambassadors”: two golden retrievers and a black lab that will put a big smile on your face!
Great Staycation Option Top notch service, from check-in to departure. While this resort was obviously very kid-friendly - super-er characters like Batman and Wonder Woman in the lobby, a real live mermaid in the pool, and water slides -- I was wary because this was a romantic birthday weekend with my wife. Room was disappointing - no bathtub, small bathroom, no place to put used towels/washcloths so had to dump them on floor.
