The process was arduous and cumbersome to get a mortgage. I realize that our situation was unique with being both seller and buyer but the amount of paperwork to prove that we could handle a mortgage was overwhelming. At the same time, the closing date was pushed three times farther which I realize was not Churchill's problem but the title company's. Is spite of this, Jeffrey made the process go relatively smoothly and was able to explain things in simple, layman terms.
