DO NOT SIGN UP FOR BAILEYS I have been a loyal member for 3 years now, recently someone else's card was attached to my account so they contacted me, saying I needed to pay back the items that had been charged to this person's account. I would highly NOT RECOMMEND joining this gym unless you want to be e-mailed by a collections firm with a $350 surprise debt that will be reported on your credit score. I hired a personal trainer through the company they are partnered with, Sweat PT, and let's just say it was the absolute worst experience. The trainer was very sexually inappropriate and once told me he was outside my house. Long story short no body high up in Bailey's ever called me to apologize/refund me any of my money. The worst part is that they allow the man who trained me and sexually harass me still work out at Bailey's! Would NOT recommend using this gym.
I've been a member for 1.5 years. I love the classes, but since covid I decided not to come back until the pandemic was over. Apparently it's not a good enough reason to cancel and I am stuck paying for a facility I don't use til September 2020.
The gym is solid. Plenty of good equipment, nice crowd, good amenities, but good freaking luck cancelling a membership and not get slapped with charges. I moved 200+ miles away and submitted my lease agreement 3 separate times to them, and was told it did not meet their standard for cancellation of membership. They sent my account out to a collection agency, and i was required to pay $125 by the agency. Took them so long to fix equipment towards the end of last year. Budget your maintenance fees. The water fountain is warm and gross and only spits out the old fashioned way so if you have any water container bigger than a plastic water bottle then you're not filling up your container. Only half full ocean runoff tasting water thats room temperature. They also false advertisement and say you receive 10% at Larry's Giant Subs and I was informed by Larry's it's only for corporate orders. Going to planet fitness instead lol
Be careful of this gym. MONEY HUNGRY and Rude people such as Kerri ar the Baymeadows location. She talk to people rude. However, I had a month to month contract, got charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. When I tried to go visit an instructor returning home, Kerri I pulled up my bank statement, but she did not want to hear that, this is not how you treat customers by talking rude and telling me my contract got cancel because if a non payment. Most disrespectful training staff I've ever encountered. Asked to speak to manager multiple times and was he was never "available".
Stay far away from this gym and their sketchy practices. All they want is money and they'll do anything to get it. I told them my account needed cancellation before I moved away over a year ago. Today I get a call from the debt collection company they hired. When I politely ask to be put on the do not call list, and sent correspondence via mail or email, the man says "how about I put it on your credit report as bad credit instead?"
