My wife and I took a sunset cruise of Boston harbor. It was overall, a pleasant experience. If you want to obtain a couch you will need to line up at least 15 minutes before they start boarding. The other seats are less comfortable. You can go upstairs and view the harbour from the outside and take great photos. The ship itself has a bit of a perfunctory look. It is not luxurious in and way and has scratches and a few random hanging wires. I must give it credit for having high enough ceilings as I'm very tall. There is not m... read more

My girlfriend and I set sail on the Adirondack III for the 1-3p tour. Aside from it being a perfect day weather wise, the staff, crew, and amenities were all great! For starters, the ticketing office was helpful and, since we were flying out shortly after, they let us store two carry-on bags in their office. We arrived 10-15 before departure which allowed us to choose any spot on board. We sat to the rear of the vessel which had cushioned seats and easy access to the bathrooms. The captain and crew were very friendly, person... read more

This was a fun way to see the Boston harbor. The yacht is nice downstairs. There are couches, comfy chairs, tables and air conditioning. The upstairs is more casual. Tables and chairs are covered by an awning and couches are around the outside. We got great pictures of the harbor. As a tip to those who might be susceptible to sea sickness, the boat did move a bit. We brought dramamine and that helped.

Took the Classic Day Sail Aboard Adirondack III as a way to show my parents around Boston when they visited. The two-hour sail was just long enough, and was a lovely trip around the harbor. The crew clearly knows what they're doing, and Captain Sean was friendly and informative! Definitely grab the tickets on GoldStar for a discount, and keep your eye on the weather report. They have blankets if you get chilly!

Reviewing the Northern Lights boat after our second time on it. We had previously taken it for a morning brunch cruise and enjoyed that, even on a dreary October morning. That captain narrated very well and we even had the opportunity to spend time in the bridge talking with her. Food was decent but standard. This most recent trip was for the 4 pm harbor cruise. It was a nice day so lovely being out on the water, but the narration and "tour" part to this trip was decidedly lacking. The person who randomly and very occasional... read more

I highly recommend the Adirondack III schooner sunset sail. The view was breathtaking and the ride was very enjoyable with the nice ocean breeze!

I planned my husband's surprise 50th birthday for a Sunday afternoon charter of Northern Lights. The planning was pretty seamless as I dealt with Susan, who was responsive via email and accessible via phone. She offered great advice on the menu, the open bar vs consumption bar and how to best plan the surprise element. On the day of the event, my husband and I arrived at the ticket booth a few minutes after our guests had arrived. We proceeded down the ramps and were greeted by attentive staff who helped keep the element... read more

Awesome excursion! My husband & I had the best experience with our crew. It was a smooth sailing day, beautiful weather & not crowded. We loved our 1 1/2 hour trip & would highly recommend it!

I booked the Northern Lights cruise in Boston Harbor on Groupon for my birthday weekend. I really wanted to do a night-lights cruise and the Ghost and Graveyards Trolley, but only had three nights. I was staying in East Windsor, CT because I was going to Six Flags, New England the next day on my birthday. This meant, after driving 8 hours from Ontario, I would have to drive an hour and 45 to Boston to do the cruise the first night. I did so, and it was totally worth the extra drive there and back to the hotel. The cruise lea... read more
