RecommendedWe did the 90-minute Bridges & Locks cruise of Boston Harbor and Charles River on a beautiful day in September 2015. The boat - Yacht Beacon - seemed really small compared to the other cruising vessels in the harbor but we actually liked it a lot because you felt closer to the water. Narration gave a little history of the harbor while enjoying nice views of Boston & Cambridge. Free soda & water and the crew was friendly. Really great cruise, had a blast and learned a great deal. If it is the first time get on board early and sit by the wheel. You can hear the skipper dialog and not miss any of the views.
What a lovely evening aboard Adirondack III schooner! Captain Peter and the crew, Brennan and Abby, were friendly, funny, welcoming, and clearly experienced. The views of Boston just before sunset are stunning and classic, even on a slightly cloudy day. I strongly recommend this activity to anyone who loves the ocean, is a romantic at heart, or just wants a calming yet exciting way to spend time with loved ones. Well worth the price. We had a fantastic time on the Adirondack III! We will be back soon! I've lived in Boston for 3 years and this is the best activity I've done! Wonderful crew and we enjoyed our time immensely!
