I was greeted by Saul my service advisor at 7:30 am. I told him what I needed done, which included a recall issue and then got a ride home on the shuttle. After a couple of hours I decided to contact the dealership to get an update on my vehicle. I got a response from someone with the estimate to fix my tailgate. I thought the $500 to repair the problem with the tailgate was something I needed to fix at another time. I had to ask about the recall issue and was informed that my vehicle was not affected.
