Just don't bother here. I understand I can't go in with my pet but you should at least try to inform me of what's going on. My kitten went in for an initial check up and vaccines, I got paperwork back with no weight, no update on his heath. Nothing on the papers nor from the vet. While in there the vet called me and told me he was hissing a lot and his heart rate was abnormally high this cat has never hissed before. This used to be the first place I would call if something went wrong with my animals. I was dog watching my step daughters little dog. When I got home from work she felt warm and was yelping , itching biting at her back behind. I found some sore red spots the size of a quarter. So I called Clinton Keith Veterinary Hospital and she asked if it's an emergency well in a way yes but not life threatening. So I said no and I held for 15 minutes then click!!! I brought my rottweiller in several times as he wasn't doing too good and they would refuse to look at him. During the examination the vet looked at him from across the room and wouldnt touch him or come close and said he looked fine. No more than a week later we had to put him down. Edit: decided to give them a second try with my corgi, he ate at least one grape (turned out it was three grapes) and we called them to ask what we should do....the vet who answered the phone laughed at me on the phone and said hed be fine. I'm so upset! It seemed my dog stepped on something and I brought her here to get it taken out. The vet walked in and didn't even look at her. They told us they would have to do surgery and put her under and wouldn't take a look at it. I have a very strong feeling it was because she's a pit bull. They never even gave us a diagnosis. Just wrapped her in a bandage, gave us antibiotics, took our money and left. It all happened so fast when we got in the car we look at each other so confused. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DOG TO DIE. If I could could give this vet below zero I would. My bulldog was having labored breathed, lethargic, and foam in the back of his mouth. I took him here and he was dead 8 hours later. I just got the chart notes and the doctor clearly noted possible fluid in his lungs but NEVER mentioned it to me during our exam. So i made the huge mistake of going to clinton keith vet as the vet Henry or as he refers to himself Dr Rusty is not only a horrible vet but a horrible person. As we had to deal with him before it was asked that anyone but him discussed my dogs discharge instructions. He would not comply and walked into the examination room and immediately was rude and aggressive. He began swearing in front of my 3 year old and that is when i shut him down. A couple of my neighbors told me not to go there....i should've listened. All of the girls at reception desk were nice but when the doctor came into the exam room, I didn't feel as if he was concerned at all that my cat was having trouble urinating. He just checked him quickly by touching/pressing around his belly and said it could be a UTI and that he'd give me antibiotics just in case and walked out....I never saw him again (this was Friday night). I have had several reasons over the last 15 years or so to post a negative review on Yelp but the baby boomer generation doesn't normally run to social media to complain. We speak with our credit cards and checkbooks. I feel strongly enough about this to break from tradition. I hate having to leave this review as we took our animals here for years.
