When looking, I made sure Devonshire was a pet friendly community. It is not. The second he move to Assisted Living, they made him get rid of his pet. The studio apartment is nothing but a small hospital room with a small closet. No amenities, not even a small refrigerator or cabinets in the bathroom. There are no phones or computers for them to use. To speak to my dad I have to leave a message and 99% of the time - no call back. He has dementia, and I had to get his doctor to prescribe physical therapy just so he could have... read more
Horrible odor. Infested with mice and roaches. Management doesn’t put us, the paying residents first. Little entertainment. Short staffed. Horrible meals.
