Very Limited Design Features Constant Contact can be really frustrating. If you have a vision for the look of your email campaign, you may not be able to achieve it because their builder is so limited. Pros Constant Contact provides the basic analytics that you need to monitor an email marketing campaign's progress. They're easy to understand and I appreciate that they showcase metrics (like opens and clicks) in percentage as well as whole numbers. One stop shop EMAIL marketing platform It was good and I recommend it for anyone starting off and needing email marketing. Pros Easy, user friendly and sooo many customizations! Mail chimp was cheaper but CC was way more automated and had many more options. Cons Cost started raising a bit in the last couple years. Pricier than other options for small mailing list Pros Constant Contact interface is easy to manage. Cons Cost per email is higher than some other options. I used the free trial. Given the size of our list we decided to go with another option that remains free for what we need. CC has tiered pricing.
A platform full of potential Great choice for a beginner or company that has a very small database or no database. Pros All basic features are available and working and easy to navigate. I loved the more specialized features on the higher tiers. Cons There seems to be some functionality missing for certain features. Affordable and beginner friendly email automation tool Templates were convenient and we were able to send a weekly newsletter along with promotions with no problems. Pros There are plenty of templates to choose from and the UI is easy to navigate. It isn't advanced but this software gets the job done and can definitely increase revenue. Cons Email support is very slow and this was a big disadvantage because sometimes you need to troubleshoot an issue quickly and it just wasn't possible.
