I reserved an appointment slot ahead of time. The app wasn’t working properly to upload my drivers license, so the front desk staff had to do it manually which I felt like was double work for them. By the time I was brought back into a patient room, it was almost 45 minutes past my reserved time. Which was fine, but made me question if reserving a time slot was beneficial at all. The clinic was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly.
I had now clue why my right big toe and joint were so sore I could hardly walk on it. The whole area had swelled to the point only my sandals would fit that foot. It started Sunday evening on 9/4 and by Tuesday 9/6 the pain was just about unbearable even though I’m on a fair amount of pain meds for two bad lumbar fusions. I was seen on time and after confirming there were no broken bones, I was diagnosed with either cellulitis our gout.
