Wilderness Wonderland Absolutely nothing to dislike. Good accomodation of individual huts in a forest setting - well equipped and a gas fire for warmth.A short walk the facilities which included an excellent restaurant where we enjoyed some delicious food, thanks to the chef and kitchen staff. Advisable to take plenty of drinking water and be prepared to take your rubbish with you. We did both the long and short River cruises which, thanks to our excellent skipper, Matthew and his superb offsider, were A1.
Good Die Strasse jenseits der Fähre war für Kleinwagen seit Tagen unbenutzbar. Trotzdem hat man uns im Hotel Tickets für die Fähre verkauft ohne uns auf das bekannte Problem aufmerksam zu machen. Lage

Superb Pub, cottage and location. nothing We went there because of the history and location. The cottage was superb and the pub/meals/hosts were all top notch. The hikes/walks were great . We could off stayed longer really.

Exceptional Didn't stay long enough, need to book in advance for kayaks so missed out on a few things just an excuse to come back for longer Loved the location. the scenery was epic. Room was clean and inviting. Pub meals where good a tad on the $$$ with no other options

Exceptional There was nothing. This is a unique location and the quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations for a 'Wilderness experience'. The cabins are very comfortable and perfectly equipped. Kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom were all perfectly clean. Of course one must conceed that the showers may not be fantastic at a time when many guest shower, due to the energy and water supply. High wattage appliances will trip the fuses, so leave your hair-dryers in your bags and simply enjoy nature all around you. ... read more
