In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedWe dined with a group of around 20 adults at the Garden of the Gods, Black Bear Diner in Colorado Springs. Annie was our server and she was AMAZING!!!! She served everyone so well, had a fantastic attitude, and was super helpful with meal selections and especially recommendations for dessert. I was already a Black Bear Diner fan but Annie just made me a committed diner. Thanks Annie for all of your hard work!! We’ll be back soon!!

Our Thanksgiving plans changed at the last minute so we ordered the 3 course turkey dinner from Black Bear and it was so delicious and amazing food! Thank you for feeding my family and taking the stress out of buying food and cooking! I highly recommend Black Bear diner!
As the years go by, service gere is TERRIBLE! Just walked out after waiting 20 minutes to be seated. (Only 5 tables occupied). Now sitting next door waiting for Burger King food because we don't have that kind of time . There was literally 2 employees standing around the ENTIRE 20 minutes.

Experienced Excellent services at the Black bear diner in Humble Tx by my waitress Leah! The whole restaurant was extremely busy and everyone was working together. I repeatedly observed my waitress Leah offering to deliver food to other tables all while giving great service to her own! Job well done Leah🙌🏻 along with the entire team!
Love the Black Bear Diner in Midwest City Oklahoma! The food was so good! The waitress was great and the atmosphere was also great! What was even more amazing is the staff that was working cooks waiters waitresses were all getting along and having smiles and laughs while continuing to do their jobs! I haven’t seen that in along time at any restaurant! Thank you for a perfect lunch today!
