RecommendedFantastic service the name of our server was Holly fast and very friendly and everything came out perfectly! Only issue we had was when we came in we stood a while at the front door while a girl named Jenny was at the front counter eating food and kept telling us someone will be with us and didn’t really care to get someone to help us, we stood for a while when it seemed she was only worried about eating.
Mary was the nicest hostess I have ever had!!!! I will most definitely be back!!! AAAAA++++

normally I love this place, but last night my friends and I went to the Portland Oregon location on 82nd avenue and it was awful the service was about a two and the food was honestly maybe a one. they forgot one of our meals entirely and the food that was came out was cold and we had to keep asking for the rest different parts of our meals. I will go back but not for a while and it's very sad about that because we really enjoyed the food

I was having a horrible day until my husband suggested we go to Black Bear in Fountain, Co. When we got there (Darth) Sal was our server and he was great! Once he knew I had a really hard day, he joked with us and made sure we had everything we needed. I got the best orange juice ever, the parm sourdough burger, and sweet potato fries. For dessert we ordered a bear claw (which is freaking huge) and Sal gave us an Oreo pie to take home. It turned around my whole day to spend an hour at Black Bear Diner, and I appreciate it.

We have visited 102 Black Bear Diners and we feel that the Boise, Idaho location on S. Entertainment has the curse inside decorations. They also have a super friendly manager snd staff. Congratulations to a job well done.

I have been to Black Bear Diner a few times now and each time has been delightful 🥳 Whether it is a brunch or a lunch event, the food is delicious and the servers are great !!! My most recent visit included a gorgeous, and yummy chef salad for my friend and a veggie omelet for me !!! Wowza !!! Another great piece of our dining experience is that we got the dynamic Bree as our server 🥳 I will definitely return for some comfort food and more great business meetings !!!

Our first time there. There was a wait list with only 20 people inside and parking lot wasn’t very full. We wondered why. Then found out they were short staffed due to lack of people wanting to work Of course. So the manager decided to avoid possible catastrophe and be able to serve within the diners capabilities. GREAT CALL. Our food was fantastic, our server (ALI) was fantastic also. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.
