I was a patient here for a few years before COVID hit but relapsed in the middle of the pandemic. I finally gave up fighting and came back and I can say, both times I have been here, have saved my life. Not only did they save my life, I've been able to actually get back to real life and start to build my life again. They have been kind every step of the way, they treat me like I'm a human and not just an addict. I have an amazing counselor and she has been a huge part of helping me get my life back. I have personally been a patient here for a while now and I must say the staff as of recent has had a major upgrade. both in security and mental health counseling and addiction management as well... Shout-out to Sophia Peters who is probably one of the most caring counselors I have ever had. She will literally go the extra mile for her clients.

I've been a patient at ars pantops in Charlottesville VA and my counselor Emily is bye far the best counselor I have ever talked to she cares listens and gives me the best advice when I'm in need she always calls me back in a respectful manner of time and she is just hands down one of the people that saved my life and had faith in me thank you ARS staff and most importantly Emily thank you so much girl ur the best to ever do it
Its hard to not give the place the great credit it deserves just because one member of the team is rude and controlling.I dont enjoy how my recovery or dose that day is dictated by the receptionist' atitude for that day.Other than that the place has made wonders in my life and had been helping me get past a part of life i didnt think possible and im very thankful for recovering this far.
ARS, in Winchester va is alot of help ,it help me an gave me the tools an help I needed to fight around an stay on my feet. The people who say it doesn't help or they are just about the money , dont really want help yet in getting clean . AND THAT IS KEEPING IT 100% !!! If you want to really quit an want it not for anyone else but for you ! Then they can really help you , an this is coming from my heart, they really help me an still are helping me today!! Went to ARS of Lancaster, been there 7 years and never used once and it wouldnt have been possible without them. I has a few counselors come and go but after this past week transferring out of state due to a move I have to specifically thank Jyana at that location! She was an amazing and supportive counselor who did everything she could to make my recovery stay on track! She works very hard and is good at what she does. Ars has been the absolute worst experience ever. Most of The staff is just unprofessional. The front desk girls have always tried their best but the rest of the staff especially the nurses and the ones that are actually giving you your "Healthcare" just disrespectful, violates hippa on a regular basis, speaking about patients the moment they are out of earshot , picking certain patients to ignore and make wait depending on how they feel and who they like or dont like speaking about patients personal information while on the ... read more
