Director [name removed] is a horrible person. She keeps one caregiver for a cottage with 12 adults. She doesn’t care about elderly abuse, she doesn’t notify family members when our loves ones are hospitalized and under her care, one elderly man got lost in the streets of Clearwater, wondering around for six miles and ended up in the hospital. We picked this community, because they had a graduated memory care unit, and I would not have to move my loved one, if their level of care changed. The communication needs to improve. There has been turnover in the staff, administration, and support staff. My advice to other familes, is to understand what you are getting in terms of the organizational end of things.

I would tell others that I was very disappointed in how they cleaned the bathrooms. Their trash is not picked up daily. The food was ok, they just repeated the meals a lot so there was not a lot of variety on the menu. I cannot comment on the activities due to covid. The staff were friendly enough but they argued and did not seem to get along very well. One night they actually had to call the police to break up one of the fights. Overall, I would not recommend this facility at all.

I found inexperienced uncaring "caregivers", except for one. All staff changing often. I was there almost every day helping take care of my loved one. I cannot think of a single thing that operated well - lack of activities, cleanliness, food & water, laundry, etc. No longer there.

It was not a good fit for my sister in law. She needed more care then they were able to provide. The room sizes were good. The food was not good, and not very nutritious. They have outdoor space. They were very short-staffed.

My mother had a terrible experience at this community. Her personnel needs were not met and they did not offer any type of activities. The aids are more like glorified babysitters. They do not not have enough staff or management to care for the residents properly. They gave me a lot of information up front about the services they provide and they did not offer any of them.
