My mother was there for respite care for eight days. She thought she was going to Haidet first time away from home. She absolutely loved everybody, they were so kind and friendly to her, took wonderful care of her lots of activities and lots of entertainement. I will do it again. I personally toured the facility beforehand, it is absolutely spotless and everyone including the maintenance people are so friendly can't say enough nice things about them.

The grounds and cottages at Pacifica has well maintained and quite lovely. The caregivers at the Red cottage are very sensitive to the needs of the people living there, very friendly and keep me informed of any additional items required. Also, the caregivers do everything possible to make life as comfortable as possible for the people living there. The rooms are clean and well lit and much like a vacation room at a hotel. Best place for Mom ! Every staff member is truly caring about the residents! The nurses and med-techs are wonderful! They treat each resident so personally. They actually get to know the residents! Lots of activities for the residents.

Loved this community for my Mother, however, the accommodations were too small. They did not offer 1 bedroom/living room options. Rated: High for friendliness, cleanliness and residents were very happy.

We had a really helpful experience in finding a place for my Mother from the referrals given on A Place for Mom and the Advisor, Coy, over the span of several months. After our tour at The Cottages (now Pacifica) and several conversations, there was assistance with referrals and information from the Director, Emily and Sales Advisor, Karen to help make the process work for our family. Positive: My father in law likes the food and the staff. He has gained weight which is good. His room is clean and he is clean. Negative: They have had a lot of staff turnover. He has recently had a couple medication errors, he fell out of his wheelchair once (no injury), the administrators are slow to respond to inquiries about these events.

Overall, I would say that my ratings of three are probably closer to a four than a three. The staff that works in the cottage that my sister and her husband are in are very friendly and helpful. What throws them off is when the staff rotates on occasion and the new staff don't seem to be as friendly or helpful. There was a recent change of chef in the kitchen, which they seem to like better. An assisted living studio rents for $2495. I was charged $3848. They refuse to refund what I was overcharged. A dishonest company.
