Perfect portions, perfect taste and reasonable price.
Everything was good except for the eggs - they were full of shell fragments so I had to throw them out :(
Build your own breakfast was terrific as usual! Campfire Chicken meal was good. I didn't care for the tomatoes as they didn't have any flavor and I wish they'd been roasted instead of steamed. The red potatoes needed to cook a little longer, they still had some crunch to them. Carrots and corn on he cob were good. Hubby wolfed down the Coca Cola cake and said it was wonderful. I'm saving the peach cobbler for later, but it looks good! I asked for silverware for two meals and two desserts, but didn't get any.
Taste wise, everything is good. It's the packaging that is the issue. How they elected to pack and stack the dumplins caused them to make a mess within the bag and therefore leaking onto the rest of the iems.
The chicken has too much pepper in it. The corn bread is dry and not good at all. The Mac n cheese was fabulous. The brown beans were fine. I'm just not happy with their cornbread muffins.
The **WEDNESDAY ONLY** Broccoli Cheddar Chicken was delicious and well worth the money! Plentiful portion and so juicy!
The mashed potatoes were horrile. They were hard and dry. I ordered loaded but I dont think there was a drop of butter on them
Southern Fried Chicken was delicious! we always have to reheat when we order from Cracker Barrel because we live a little further out. Even with a little reheat it was still wonderful.
