Incorrect items even though they had a quality check off on the receipt. Shows to me it wasn't checked. Really been going downhill on the Togo orders lately.
The Southern Fried Chicken was fried super hard, and quite difficult to eat. The baked potato was not prepared as requested. Very unsatisfied, which is unusual for this franchise.
Food was lukewarm at best and juts not o the usual quality. Ham was dried out and old.
I gave this place one more chance after ordering on Thanksgiving. It was pretty horrible that day, but I wanted fried chicken so I figured I would give it one more chance. That being said I ordered Sunday Homestyle Chicken®, and a side of Corn on the cobb. Safe to say the Sunday Homestyle Chicken® was dry and overcooked. The seasoned corn on the Cobb was squishy and gross! Never again Cracker Barrel!!!
The peaches were good in the "peach cobbler" but that wasn't cobbler. Very disappointing. Chicken and Dumplings were good, as usual. Biscuits and fried apples were yummy.
The potatoes in all 3 orders were hard. rock hard. The mashed potatoes seemed like they had sat all day.
The food was flavorless, especially the gravy. The biscuits were dry. The pancakes were soggy. The french toast tasted bad. The corn bread had no flavor, no salt nor sugar. The country fried steak was falling apart and had no flavor. The entire food was just nasty and difficult to eat. I tossed everything into the trash can. I'm never ordering from this restaurant ever again. This has to be the nastiest food I have ever eaten. Money was just wasted for no good reason.
The fried chicken was over cooked and very dry.
Very little roast beef. A lot of fat also. The meal was good but I think they could do better trimming the roast beef
