Clean fast service and great Ice tea No waiting, fast seating, great service, delicious meal. I had the catfish with pecan breading, being from the north I don't get this much. very good. came with a salad and sweet potato. clean friendly environment.
Crowded but good There's usually too many people and the gift shop is not large enough to accommodate, but it's very homey.
Homecooking away from home Whether it's chicken and dumplings, pot pie, roast beef platter, meatloaf, or just picking your own vegetable platter, always a crowd pleaser! The corn bread muffins are delish!

Cool Gift Store It's a chain--what do you expect? The food is good, the service is better and the gift store is best. Lots of UVA stuff--hard to find; most places carry Tech stuff.
Food is always tasteful and the country store is our favorite! I don't know what those other 2 below are saying, but it's always worth the visit.
The staff was very nice. food was good. They let us park our camper overnight in their parking lot. That was very nice, we ate supper there and breakfast. then we were on our way. we did that on the way down and on the way home. Thank you so much Cracker Barrel.
Their dumplings are my favorite!!!
Would have been great if we got everything advertised with meal Our waitress never brought us cornbread, we asked for dressing, and got gravy. The meal was advertised as having stuffing, in which we got none. Waitress was lousy.
