chicken was burnt so bad it was inedible. whole plate went into the trash. wrong veggies on kids veggie plate.
cracker barrel pancakes are supposed to be almost the size of a plate, these were smaller than a piece of toast and pale white.
DO NOT get the Fresh Strawberry French Toast Bake . It was chewy and tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for a while. The portion was about the size of how the chocolate cake is pictured - a medium-sized square. Very disappointed. Won't order that again.
Saddest thing I ever got at Cracker Barrel. 2 pices of soggy Texas toast, no flavor, apples almost crunchy from frozen? Crispy bacon under french toast that had to be half an order!?? I know food industry is hard. But this was just beyond anything I've ever had a Cracker Barrel :(
I ordered Pot Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and Broccoli and cheese casserole along with a Freshly Brewed Sweet Iced Tea (Half Gallon) and a cup of Sweet tea. I did not receive the broccoli and cheese casserole and wasn't offered a substitute, I also didn't receive the half Freshly Brewed Sweet Iced Tea (Half Gallon). The the cup of Sweet tea was not Sweet tea, it was peach tea and I didn't order that. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from this location and both times I was very disappointed! The FOOD WAS COLD AGAIN. LAST SEVERAL ORDERS HAVE BEEN COLD $23.00 PER ORDER OF FISH PLATTERS $4.00 per Green Beans SIDES VERY EXPENSIVE FOR POOR QUALITY FOOD.
The meatloaf wasn't done it was still pink inside and the chicken had been soiled by the liquid from the greens. A complete waste of my time and money.
Food was cold and had zero chicken in my CHICKEN and dumplings! Thats not an exaggeration
Was just ok. Ordered biscuits and a side of gravy. Didn't receive the gravy. Eggs were real cold and overcooked. Grits were pretty nasty. Also you can pay a couple extra bucks for a stingy amount of cheese on top. Probably busy on a sunday morning but I would expect some decent quality control for a $40 breakfast for 2 people.
