So chicken pot pie 3rd time. Flavor great. Portion size sooo sad. Spent $20 on door dash for just that one item. I moved to the south 35 years ago. Cracker barrel was a staple. What is the things we Southerners do is we give large portions of food that are really not good for you. But taste awesome. The scrambled eggs were runny, overcooked ham, sausage extremely salty, oily pancakes, and bland hashbrown casserole.
Something is off about this chicken. And it's not cooked thoroughly. Unable to eat it. The sides were good though.
Food was cold, I must have gotten the last bit of hash brown casserole as it was crispy and dry. Didn't receive enough gravy when I ordered biscuits and gravy and have another order of biscuits. Only one container was sent instead of two.
The food tasted reheated. The containers and bags are not tamper-evident sealed and when I called the Carowinds Blvd. location to request that my food be sealed in compliance with Covid protocol, a person who identified as (Dawn, Retail Manager), informed me that she would speak with the takeout personnel and request they use masking tape, which is the best Cracker Barrel could offer. Biscuits n' Gravy with Bacon or Sausage was GROSS.. tasted like straight flower everything else was fine. Mini Strawberry Cheesecake was sloppy and tasted frozen
Food just doesn't seem as good these last few orders. portions seem to be shrinking, as well.
