Unfortunately ended up waiting for an additional hour than they initially told me only to still not have everything in the order. Such a bummer on a birthday , but is what it is. Don't get takeout from here, it's a much better experience when you're physically there.
Service used to be better. Multiple missing items in my order.
Hashbrown Casserole smells strange
Ordered chicken fried chicken. No gravy. Ordered peach tea and the lid was not secured so lid fell off with the wind and there was something on the top of the tea. Gross.
While I was impressed that I actually received warm biscuits (and they seem to either have returned to in house baking or switched to a better supplier), the problem with cracker barrel delivery that they barely closes bag and don't knot or staple it.. The quality at this location had been bad recently. Today, the sides were good, but the meatloaf odd. Maybe it's their recipe or supplier , but it seemed to have uncooked bits in it along with some pieces that I couldn't identify what they were. Hard pass on that.
Ordered pancakes and there was no syrup or butter. Mashed potatoes with brown gravy had very little brown gravy.
The hamburger steak was tough. Ugh.
Small piece of turkey for the price. Just one piece. And completely forgot my gravy.
Fish had no flavor, steak fries had no flavor. This meal did not seem to be very fresh. The biscuits were hard. I do expect some temperature change when having delivery, however that was not the case with this meal. It definitely was not warm nor very fresh. Seems to be an ongoing issue with the Rockwall Cracker Barrel. I cannot compare to others as this is the only one I have ever eaten from
