The bacon was under cooked - it was ordered crispy but was almost raw. Our biscuits were hard! Cracker Barrel do better!
We ordered a family meal of chicken and dumplings and got half of a to go box. The amount of food in this box is less than what would be in a normal sized portion.
My French toast and chicken was cold and undercooked. Just thrown in the box. Barrel bites had no sauce. Cracker Barrel treated the food with less care since I was not dining in store
I order several things in this order. The Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken was really good. The fried okra was really good as well. But I was very disappointed with the Golden Carolina BBQ Chicken Tenders. First thing I noticed when I got my order was that the sauce as basically nonexistent on this order. Second thing I noticed was that the Golden Carolina BBQ Chicken Tenders was severly over cook.
Not sure what happened here, but this was the worst meal I've ever had from Cracker Barrel. I ordered a Vegetable Soup Bowl (BOWL) that runs about $7, and I received this tiny cup of soup. To top it off the soup was ice cold, like it was strait out of the refrigerator, and never heated up. It was mostly broth, like it was the last bit in the pot. My chicken was hard and over cooked. cheese wasn't even melted on casserole. These green beans tasted like they just came out a can, no seasoning... Need to cook pintos a little longer. we're a little hard
Ordered the chicken fried chicken meal. I never got the gravy for the top of my chicken as advertised and chicken was cooked too long and very hard and dry. On top of that I never got my drink. After waiting an hour for my food I'm disappointed
Tenders almost burnt and mashed potatoes looked and tasted like an old baked potato that had been smashed . No seasoning, milk, butter...it was terrible.
Roast beef was small, and tough. I didnt even finish it! It was like chewing leather. Didn't receive any of my extras.
