Hamburger Steak** was overcooked and dry. The gravy was coagulated and food was cold. Paid for an extra side of Sawmill Gravy to be extra for the steak fries and Country Fried Steak. The entree arrived with NO gravy on the Country Fried Steak and the entree was like warm. No butter for the biscuits and cornbread, but they were both cold and hard as rocks so that didn't matter. VERY disappointed
Hamburger steak is DRY and not cooked to the temp I requested and the mashedp potatos are hard and dry as if they have been sitting for hrs ... I do not recommend this at all
Haven't eaten from CB in a few years; food tasted like it was cooked for a heart patient on salt/fat restrictions. No butter brushed on the biscuits (didn't even get butter packets with them). Had to put a crapton of salt in the gravy to get any flavor. Coarse Ground Grits were soupy and undercooked (I don't like "creamy" grits - they're corn grits, not cream of wheat - but sheesh, this was hot water and crunchy, ground corn hominy soup) , and might have been cooked while butter and salt were nearby on the table but never ac... read more
Latte for $5 but in a small coffee cup. Food wasn't even warm. Biscuits were so cold I know they took them out the fridge and put them in my bag. Y'all betta be glad I like y'all. Order from them again? Ehhh maybe.
The Sunday Homestyle Chicken® was so dry, it was difficult to swallow. The chicken and okra tasted like it was rubbed on raw fish then cooked in fish oil! Not only is that disgusting but completely inedible. Finally, the biscuits were hard, overcooked, and stale.
The ham was dry. The portions of the carrots and Mac n cheese were for a child. And to pay $16 bucks for a child portion meal is ridiculous. And lets not forget to mention the up-charge we already pay for using door dash. For a family of two, it is cheaper to order out than to cook, most of the time. With the cost of living inflating on a daily basis, there should be better quality & quantity for the amount of money spent. I will not be spending any more of my hard earned money on Cracker Barrel again.
Called the store to see if they had chicken and Dumplins. Were told yes. ordered and well guess what they were out. This is the second time.
Stuffed cheesecake pancakes were missing strawberries and syrup and the choc milk was old. Good was cold. Weve had better service before
The Country Big Breakfast came cold. The gravy was congealed and tasteless. The steak was supposed to be med rare, but came well done. The grits were soupy. I am never happy with The Cracker Barrel, so we won't be ordering from there again.
