I ordered the Chicken and Dumplings with 3 sides so that I could have leftovers for Dinner. I have ordered from Cracker Barrel several times without incident but this time the food was awful. I had a double order of soupy chicken no dumplings. The green beans were greasy, no seasoning, and tasted as if they had been either left out too long or were at the bottom of the pot. I order the apples when I go inside to eat. But, this were so sweet they were inedible. I won't be ordering anything else anytime soon.
Order was incorrect. Ordered green beans. Didn't get them. Ordered carrots and got them with the wrong plate. I received Mac and cheese in place of my carrots. Ordered two orders of onions slices and chow chow. I got one of each and the onion was less than half a slice. I do not recommend this Cracker Barrel. They do not know how to read a screen and fulfill orders. Beans and Greens where bowls. I received a side cup of each. That's $10 down the drain. What a horrible lunch experience.
I placed my order at 1:42 PM and didn't receive it until 3:40 PM. All I ordered was a bowl of vegetable soup and a side salad. I live less than 10 minutes from Cracker Barrel. Kudos to both Door Dashers who waited patiently for my order. The soup was not packaged properly and half of it was in the bottom of the plastic bag my order came in. The soup was also cold by the time I got it. I've had issues with Cracker Barrel several times when trying to order food for delivery.
The food was old: The hashbrown casserole was HARD, the gravy on the roast and potatoes was dried up and super thick.
