Crepes in the sunset I think Crepevine is just alright. I love that they add in a side salad and roasted potatoes (both yummy) to their crepes so that the portion is huge, but the crepes themselves aren't that tasty. I've tried a few different ones off their ...
Crepe Vine I like visiting this eatery during the weekday because it is less crowded than the weekend. Its a great place to get filling yummy food at very affordable prices. They offer foods other than crepes, such as eggs, pancakes, salads, soups, and burgers. But of course, the crepes are the best very fresh and tasty. And the service is very simple. You pay for your meal and they deliver it to you...
Yummy crepes, but not authentic I didn't try the breakfast items, but I enjoyed the crepes for sure. Ppl are right that they're not authentic, but I still enjoyed it a lot and the value makes a great lunch. They were generoud with their portions. The dessert crepes were also great. Santanini (think that's the name) is a must-try b/c they're very generous with the pistachios! I'm planning to bring my boyfriend to try cuz he loves crepes, and will definitely try their breakfast next time! Pros + Yummy food, Great value, Desser... read more
User review by sandohno7 The crepes are tasty and the portion is filling. I wasn't expecting much from a savory crepe but it certainly changed my view after my lunch. Pros + good food Cons - crowded
Crepes are ok Theres nothing really special about their crepes. Basically I don't think I'll notice that it is missing if its they leave out the crepes. The best thing they have is their corn beef with potatoes, green peppers, onions and sunny side eggs on top with toasts. They use to make really good potatos, which were cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside. Now its just soggy and bland.
It's not about the crepes As others have said, the crepes aren't the best thing on their menu. Personlly, Crepevine is my favorite weekend brunch place of choice. I will miss this place if I move away from the Bay Area. I prefer dessert crepes over savory crepes, but I tend to think that dessert crepes should be of the hand held kind. Therefore, my favorite menu item is their Costa del Sol...their eggs benedict with spinach and ham. The hollandaise sauce serves me just right. The Costa del Sol makes all other benedicts bland... read more
Divine Crepes! There are many a restaurants that serve crepes...but Crepevine really has a good thing going. They have a wide selection of crepes; breakfast, dessert, and the like. Not to mention the huge portions! This casual eatery is a great place to lun...
Great for Sunday Brunch Crepevine is great for Sunday brunch! Every dish is fresh and tasty. The coffee here is good, too. It's also good even just having coffee here. The seats outside are hot in warm days!
Good affordable food The Crepe Vine as the name suggest, sells crepes. It's fun eating crepes for dinner and desert at the same sitting. The service is mainly self serve, you pick your tables and everything, all you have to do is go up to the counter and order your food. After ordering your food, I always put lose change in the Karama jar (Tips), get my number and wait at my table. Since everything is made fresh...
