Great Local Spot This a very good Saturday breakfast spot (which is what we did). We came into town to see our son and he said this is the place to go. It is a very fun "environment" and can get very busy... So put your "just relax" shoes on and smile on your face! You order at the counter and they bring...
inexpensive & excellent This restaurant looks very quaint and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxing although very busy. The food is excellent, plentiful and surprisingly inexpensive. Service is quick it, exceeding our expectations. Great place to go after a long day at the park.
Plentiful Quality Portions Nice menu variety - something to please everyone. The prices were reasonable and the food exceeded my expectations. Omelette was huge. Its a little cozy however well worth the visit. Fast service too.
Tasty and cheap There is a great variety of dishes to choose from. The cafe has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. We as students considered the prices to be good value, as the yummy food came in huge portions and was served after a few minutes! I would definitely recommend it.
Go to Crepevine We went to Crepevine on a Friday and Sunday afternoon. You have to wait in line to order, but the workers are quick to ask how many are in your party so a table is ready after you order. It can be very tight quarters for eating! You can barely get into your seat sometimes, depending on where your table...
Lots of choices, all good, convenient to CA academy of science We had an early dinner at Crepevine and loved everything we ordered. Savory crepes for adults. Good serving size for $$. Varied kids menu. Kids hot dog was big! Delicious dessert crepes. We thought about coming back for another meal because we enjoyed this one so much!
Never been to this crepevine, but it's a chain and have frequented the one in Burlingame which is great. Large portions of good food. They have crepes, salads which are excellent, sandwiches, etc. They have one burger on the menu which is also good. Burlingame has an outside eating area which is quite lovely on a warm day. You order your own food and then they bring it to you when it's done....
I've only been to the one on College Ave in Oakland. Good pasta dishes and dessert crepes.
Comfortable neighborhood joint Favorite ""regular"" place. I eat here at least once a week, sometimes breakfast, sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner. If I'm really hungry and craving something meaty, I have the corned beef hash -yummy and plentiful. I don't eat cheese, and they are great about accomodating my cheese-less requests and also mixing up the tea in my teapot and refilling the hot water.
