I purchased a Crown boiler 10/7/2016 an 6.5 years later it started leaking from the cast iron heat exchanger. I tried filling a claim online and it went nowhere. the installer filed a claim months later and it was denied for the kind of water I use!!! without even taking a water sample. I have read the warranty on this unit, it does not mention anything about using well water. the last boiler lasted almost 50 years. this product is junk!! Do not buy Crown Boilers.

My mom is a sick elderly woman living up in Ohio by herself. Her heat went out last night and she called into crown this morning bc she has had a contract with them for years. She spoke with a man named Ricky Bowen. He informed her she would have to pay double bc it’s a Saturday and her contract tract lapsed.
