It's now a flea market no produce at all. It does have several places to eat.

We were able to get fresh eggs and meat at a great price but don't come here if you want produce. What a shame :(

Total disappointment. I don't go to the farmers market for soap jewelry or candles. I go for fruit and vegetables. There was one table there with a little bit, and that little bit that was there ~was very pricy. There was one small place across the street not affiliated with them that was still doing business as the farmers market used to, and that one tiny place was packed. Maybe take a hint from them Dallas. I'm so sad the Dallas farmers market was ruined.

Extremely disappointed in DFM today! I have not been here in a while and I know there was some revamping going on...but I came for fruits and veggies. There was maybe 3 tables set up with vegetables... none of which i was shopping for today. DFM...please bring back local farmers produce. NOT perfumes by your zodiac sign.

City of Dallas - City Hall needs to find actual business minded people to run the Dallas Farmers Market. Enforcing the businesses and restaurants in the closed shed to mandatorily close at 6pm due to the "homeless population" is a disgrace. These businesses have invested down here with both their shops and alcohol licenses and they cannot capitalize on anything but a lunch service and for some, breakfast. These restaurants are the only thing that make the shed what it is. If they don't make money and leave, this shed is noth... read more

I assume my budget-conscious middle-class family doesn't quite fit the target demo here. Brought my kids looking for something to cook this evening. We haven't been here since the transition. I saw three tables with actual produce at crazy prices and the remainder of the shed space (by remainder I mean the quarter of the building that had vendors set up) was artisan vendors selling various wares. The diversity and mix of people of the old market has been whitewashed. If I want bahn mi or $6 tacos I can just stick around Elli... read more

Terribly disappointing. I've been hearing the parking will be better and the produce will be coming for months so I thought I'd give it one more try. Ugh. Total waste of time.

Used to go there all the time and it was great... then the troubles began. First most stalls starting buying stuff at the wholesale warehouse and were not growing and selling fresh produce. Then the yuppies arrived and changed it to what it is now, a high priced flea market. Too bad because it was a genuine treasure in its day.

I was ready to make my first trip of springtime to stock up on produce & plants. I had several people tell me it wasn't worth the trip, and after reading through these comments, I can see they were right. Trying to turn this into something it was never meant to be was a huge mistake. There's a saying Dallas would have done well to heed. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I'll do my "farmer's market" shopping at the ones in the suburbs.
