This was my first experience with purchasing new carpet. I visited the showroom last week and Ty the salesman was very helpful in answering my questions about replacing the carpet in 3 bedrooms for my home. I made a decision on a color and style of carpet. We discussed that I would need the installers to move the furniture in my master bedroom and I would take care of removing the furnishings in the other 2 rooms. Ty provided me with a quote for the price of the carpet and labor (installation, removal of old carpet, & moving/replacing the furniture in the master bedroom). A date was scheduled for about a week later for the job to be completed. However, the morning the subcontractor arrived to do the install, he was not aware (obviously a miscommunication) that the job including moving furniture. The incompetent installer began the job and tore out 2 rooms of carpet. He then moved some of the master furniture (with the help of 2 individuals DWF sent to help). Then, he decided he didn’t want to to do the job and left my home! He put the new carpet and padding in my driveway. After making calls to DWF, they diligently worked to find someone to complete the job. The owner Todd and the supervisor over the installation department Chad, came to my house and immediately began working. They also brought in two more guys-Steve and Scott, to make sure the job could be completed as quickly as possible (by this time it was after 5:00, on a Friday). They were very apologetic about the sub contractor leaving the job incomplete and worked hard to see that I was satisfied and the work was done correctly. Sometimes things happen that are beyond a businesses control. But, DWF did the best they could to correct the mistakes of the original installer. I am completely satisfied with how quickly they worked to resolve the problem and to make sure that me, the customer was satisfied. I will definitely use them again in the future!
