Doctor Salazar is not only a skilled surgeon but a very compassionate person. He takes his time with you and always answers your questions. He was asked to operate on a family member that had numerous issues. Dr. Salazar addressed each situation and because of that, the surgery went smoothly. My cousin not only is doing well, he is going to have his other shoulder operated on soon.!

I am able to swing a golf club again!!!! And owe it all to this Wonderful Doctor. In fact, I hit the best drive ever a few weeks ago. Dr. Salazar performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder in October of 2018, two years ago. I was referred to Dr. Salazar by my spine surgeon, Dr. Lauren Matteini. Dr. Salazar performed a right rotator cuff surgery on me on July 7, 2020. He was very kind, thorough, polite and told me everything that he was going to do and explained my recovery period and assured me everything would be fine. I had rotator cuff surgery in March 2019.After a year of therapy I went to Dr Salazar for a second opinion.Surgery#2 July 2020.Dr Salazar did a great job and 3 months later I feel great My experience with him and Loyola was so good I found NEW primary care Dr and now I only deal With Loyola. Dr Salazar is the true definition of above and beyond..What a great guy along with a great surgeon..

I am very pleased with my right shoulder reverse replacement. I had the procedure August 30, 2018.. I have had zero problems with it. Would highly recommend Dr. Dane Salazar to anyone needing shoulder surgery. I was 69yrs old at time of procedure and many people tried to discourage me. Glad I didn't listen to them. Dr. Salazar is very friendly and through.
