First time meeting Dr. Birk I knew how caring he was. I had lower back pain and before I even sat down with me he reviewed all my past medical history. I was very impressed and insured I was in the best care and that he will make the best decision for me when he reads my mri.
DR Birk was very thorough and had kind and caring bedside manner. He explain everything to me and my family in great detail! Dr. Birk is fantastic! His bedside manner is so great his knowledge is so amazing I would not go to any one else. He explains everything so that you understand what he’s going to do.

Doctor was patient, kind, understanding,Soft spoken which made it more comfortable to talk to him.He listened to me and explained everything to me. He went over everything and explained in layman’s terms so I can understand. . Treated me with respect and went over all the options. Overall very happy with my appointment.
After an auto accident while I was in an ER in Nassau County DR Birk was notified by the hospital he had done a surgery on me 2 yrs earlier. He sent his PA to Nassau to read the reports and has me transferred that day to Mather hospital for emergency surgery. And amazing caring man. 100% recommend .
