Daren was brought in to finance our HECM loan, which required more specific knowledge and hoops than usual. It wasn't long before we realized that this deal was going beyond the usual, as required repairs and the uniqueness of the homes design became problems and the first underwriter backed out. This happened just days before our scheduled closing. Daren did not give up, it took a month and much negotiation to bring another underwriter to the table so we could finally have our new to us home.
