We had not owned a home in many years. Actually, we didn't think we would own a home again because of the challenges of qualifying. Our loan officer took all those worries and challenges out of the picture, and made it possible for us to own the home our family dreamed of having.
Daren was brought in to finance our HECM loan, which required more specific knowledge and hoops than usual. It wasn't long before we realized that this deal was going beyond the usual, as required repairs and the uniqueness of the homes design became problems and the first underwriter backed out. This happened just days before our scheduled closing. Daren did not give up, it took a month and much negotiation to bring another underwriter to the table so we could finally have our new to us home.
My Loan Officer Daren Crockett is amazing! Very Helpful and answered any all of my questions. Processor, Donna Abson was easy to work with and communicate with. Daren and Donna and ALL the staff at VanDyk Mortgage made my home buying experience very very easy.
