The worst location I've had due to old oil and chicken not tasting fresh or moist. They need to step up and be up to the standard of the others.
WORST Dave's hot chicken I've been too. even tho I figured out their pattern of bs at all Dave's Hot Chicken. if you ordered the slider meal, they rip you off and give you a super tiny chicken strip instead of a tender. Nobody has time to keep going back and asking for the correct size chicken they advertise. and on top of that I've been advocating for this place for years!!!! so I'm even more offended. last time eating there. the spices suck bad now as well. hot is not even hot anymore. this place is a straight joke!!!!!
Really slow service. It's faster when you order online but if you're dining in, expect to wait over 25 mins for your food. If you spice level medium, it will taste like there is no spice. I always order hot or extra hot to feel the spiciness. The new cauliflower is good. I would recommend that over the chicken.
Not the usual Dave's I go to and it's the worst location ever! Gave dry burnt tenders the size of my finger, along with half filled fries (see images). I give this location 6 months tops before closing (unless management changes). I never have these issues at the Glendale or Burbank locations.

I'd like to start off by saying, I love Dave's hot chicken. All of the other locations that I have been to have been great; Lakewood, Cerritos, Torrance, Hollywood. All have had great food and great service every time. The Dave's in Northridge used to be good. The food would be just as good as the other ones. Last night was the first time I have been to that location in about two years and it has gone downhill. It took 30 minutes for an order of loaded fries, a slider, and a side strip, with a slusher. They give you an ETA when you place an order online. Then when you get there you notice that your eta has jumped up 20 mins. For no apparent reason.
1 star because of the poor customer service. I mean I get it this place gets busy with people walking in and online orders but it looks like they're always understaff especially during peak hours. I was just there 30 min ago 5ish pm to pick up an online order. I went straight to their pickup window located along Dearborn street. When I got there I was patiently waiting because I can see how the staff are really busy attending to the walkin customers. Honestly , why is there a need for almost an hour wait . the girl in the front was really slow and was taking her time. When i got my food it was cold . there was only 2 people in the back and 1 in the front, they all moved really slow . the quality of this store has just downgraded so bad. They had a full screen of mobile yours and for dine in / take out orders .
