I love coming here for some really good flavorful fried chicken. Amanda was really nice in serving us and even suggested I try both lite mild and mild in one plate because the mild is full of flavor. I shied away from mild because of other chicken spots being too spicy, but it was a great balance. She was attentive and friendly. The ambiance of the place is much like any fast food places, not too wild when I went. Good ac. Lots of places to sit.

I first visited Dave's Hot Chicken three years ago when I worked at Ontario Airport and quickly became a regular customer. Since then, I changed airport locations and was thrilled to hear they were building one outside Lakewood Mall. My wife had never tried it, so I took her there for lunch. I ordered Dave's #1 meal for her, which included two tenders with fries, a slice of bread, pickles, and Dave's sauce. I chose the Hot heat level for her and a regular drink. First time trying it since its pretty popular... i'm glad i did. Chicken tenders are soooo good! Ordered Dave's #1 and it includes 2 tenders, decided to add another tender in case portions were not enough --- wrong, it was more than enough but i ate it anyway. Service was pretty straight forward because i ordered frim Drive Thru. I found the food expensive thus shaving off a star. For what i ordered i paid $20. I mean it did not come with a drink and it is chicken tenders after all.

Ordered the. Chicken sandwich with fries and medium on the sauce. I should have went hotter! Regardless it was very tasty with a great crunch and all toppings were spot on. Really enjoyed the sandwich. The fries had a seasoning that reminded me of pork skin spicy seasoning. Gave it just enough salty with that little extra flavor. Crispy fries with soft inside. Nothing beats that except with a glass of ice tea. Not like home made Texas Style but it hit the spot. Give it a try and don't be shy about adding a little more heat... read more
