TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Wasn't sure what I was walking into but the design of the store was welcoming. Menu was simple and easy to understand as well as the guest service properly explained as well. The chicken was amazing as well the tenders being HUGE!!!! Surely coming back soon :)
Absolutely amazing experience here. Went a few days after their grand opening date and had nothing but a great experience. The staff was very helpful and Ciara walked me through the very simple menu of chicken tenders, thank you!!! A must try in Toronto!!!

Worst tasting chicken I have ever had, the spice combination was terrible! It was slightly bitter and the dipping sauce was not good either....it just wasn't right. The seating was basic. The only saving Grace were the fries and the service.
20 minutes to get 3 orders and all 3 orders ended up being wrong. Chicken strips were good but the sliders were too saugy from the coleslaw. Sorry Drake

This is a cute space and the service is friendly, but the food is pretty bad. Ive tried it a couple of times at different spice levels and the chicken has been super salty both times, and I normally prefer quite a bit of salt in my food. My friend told me he got their combo but couldn't finish as he thought he would have a heart attack because of the salt - no doubt he was exaggerating but I'd agree that this is the saltiest fried chicken I have ever had (Popeyes, KFC, Asian friend chicken places etc.)

Ordered Uber eats. Took 45 minutes extra. Combo 3. Counted 14 fries in the box. Forgot my coleslaw. Forgot my sauce. Forgot my honey. Spice level was wrong. But they were "sorry". Huge disappointment. Would avoid at all costs. Just happy I got my money back.
