TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I came in close to closing and the customer service I received from Georgie was immaculate !!!! He was super friendly and helpful despite me coming in late. The restaurant was also super clean which I really appreciated !! 10/10
Such a cute place. Love the art work on the walls. It had some random areas of emptiness in there but it was still a vibe. Menu is simple and to the point. Love how you can choose the level of heat. Overall, the food was good..not the best I've ever had. The dry seasoning is a little overwhelming. The sliders were perfect in size, not tiny like I thought it would be. I'm just surprised a place like this doesn't offer ranch. Overall, pretty good, though.
The food was just ok, I was really looking forward to it but just didn't wow me, staff was nice, inside was pretty clean, a bit loud on music but overall ok. just wished it was better, oh well
Food was awesome. The family loved it. Signed the waiver for the Reaper. Wasn't too incredibly hot. My favorite was the extra hot chicken. We will be back.
I wanted something different and I'm GLAD I chose this place!! The staff was AWESOME I wasn't familiar with the menu and their sauces so they let me taste a sample of the sauce and the kale slaw...they were EXCELLENT in their role. The food was SO GOOD!!! I kept saying with each bite "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm" It wasn't spicy just how i like it (they have other spice levels for the people that like spice) they made my FIRST experience with them a GREAT ONE! I will DEFINITELY be back!!
My family and I are Dave's fans. I like getting the #1 which comes with two tenders on a slice of toast each. I like the extra hot spice level. I pour honey on it and dip it in Dave's sauce. My husband likes to get the sliders. It's great that there are seven spice levels. You can get a tender with no spice. My five year old loves it and asks for Dave's often. Check this place out. Staff is friendly too!
I've been here several times and it's my new favorite place. The flavor is on point, the servings are good for the price, the menu is small. The staff is a bit slow but the food is worth it.

I've had a lot of chicken sandwiches, and Dave's is one of the best I've had. It's a little shocking to me that there are only 70ish reviews for this spot. The sliders are what I imagine what normal portions used to be, and that actually is a good thing. Huge chicken sandwiches just leave me feeling like crap, and Dave's sliders are a perfect size for me to enjoy without feeling like I need to throw up afterward.
